‘Satay?………. Satay Kajang la!’
What is satay? Satay is a skewered meat dish that is originated from Indonesia. It has become one of the popular food in Malaysia especially Kajang, the origin of Malaysia’s satay. And when you speak of Kajang, you would never missed Haji Samuri’s satay, one of the largest satay-restaurant chain throughout Malaysia.
到底什么是沙爹呢？沙爹就是源自印度尼西亚的串烧小吃。但它已经成为了马来西亚家户喻晓的民间美食，特别是在加影 – 大马沙爹之乡。当你提起加影时，你绝对不会不提到Haji Samuri的沙爹，它是大马最大的沙爹连锁店之一。
About 100 years ago (1917), the pioneers of Satay Kajang, Haji Tasmin and his brother (both from Indonesia), Haji Dono came over to Malaysia. Haji Tasmin started small by selling satay while getting help from his brother. He was Datuk Samuri Juraimi’s mentor, who taught Samuri how to prepare and cook the satay meat.
大约在100年前（1917），加影沙爹的开拓者，Haji Tasmin和他的兄弟Haji Dono（皆出生在印度尼西亚）来到了马来西亚。Haji Tasmin 在他兄弟的帮助下开始了他们的沙爹事业。他曾经是拿督Samuri Juraimi的师傅，是他教会了Samuri如何准备及烹饪沙爹肉。
After Tasmin pass away, Samuri took over the business and successfully expanded it throughout Malaysia until today. Unfortunately, Datuk Samuri Juraimi has passed away in his house due to liver cancer few months ago.
当Tasmin过世后，Samuri 就接手了这门生意，而如今也成功的把它发展成大马最大的沙爹连锁店之一。不幸的是，拿督Samuri Juraimi在几个月前因为肝癌的原因在家中过世了。
